In order to further modernize their port platform, the authorities of the Autonomous Port of San Pedro (PASP) recently welcomed a latest generation handling crane. The ceremony, held at the San Pedro Terminal (TSP) site, was chaired by the General Director of the Port, Pascal Dally. Around him were the main leaders of the port community, the TSP partners, as well as administrative, religious and customary authorities, all united around the same objective, making San Pedro an ever more efficient and attractive port. 

In his speech, the Director General of PASP welcomed a structuring investment as part of the policy of modernizing port infrastructure and equipment. “A crane is not just a simple lifting device, it embodies a promise of performance and reliability serving a port that chooses to anticipate the future,” he declared. He also recalled that the massification of maritime flows, driven by ever-larger ships, requires ports to equip themselves with equipment to match these changes. Pascal Dally also congratulated his TSP counterpart, Georges Brown, and his teams, for the realization of this project, while reaffirming the port authority's desire to support private investments in the service of national economic growth. 

With this equipment, San Pedro confirms its trajectory of continuous modernization, initiated for several years, and refines its ambition to become a reference port platform in West Africa.
