For a long time, obtain a reliable and consolidated vision of private investments in Côte d'Ivoire related to the administrative puzzle. Data circulated in a fragmented manner between institutions, often incomplete, and funding agreements escaped rigorous monitoring once signed. It is this structural deficit that the Center for the Promotion of Investments in Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI) has decided to fill by formalizing, on July 10, 2026 in Abidjan, the Single Window for Declaration of Private Investment (GUDIP). Designed in close collaboration with the General Directorate of the Economy, and benefiting from the technical and financial support of the Support Program for the Improvement of the Business Climate (PACA-CI), financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the GUDIP is positioned as a public governance tool. It aims to establish a harmonized system allowing the collection, centralization, monitoring and management of private investments on a national scale. growth, employment and economic transformation of the country. The GUDIP will notably make it possible to measure the conversion rate of declared investment intentions into actually implemented projects, a data that has until now been difficult to establish. This initiative is part of the expected mobilization of the private sector, called upon to finance more than 70% of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030. Its deployment is scheduled between the third quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.
By consolidating the quality of economic data, CEPICI aims to strengthen its role as a strategic partner of the State in the modernization of investment governance in Côte d'Ivoire.
