Chaired by the Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Souleymane Diarrassouba, in the presence of Dr. Nabil Ghalleb, Regional Director of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the launching ceremony of the Member Country Partnership Strategy (SPPM) 2025-2029 was held 3 days ago. During this important meeting, the Regional Director presented the broad outlines of this new phase of cooperation, aligned with the strategic priorities of the PND 2026-2030, the overall envelope of which reaches 114,832.5 billion FCFA.

This renewed partnership is part of a particularly solid long-term dynamic. Since its accession in 2002, Côte d'Ivoire has established itself as the IDB Group's leading portfolio in sub-Saharan Africa, with $3.9 billion in cumulative approvals spread across 77 projects and operations. Over the PND 2021-2025 period alone, eight projects were completed and eleven new operations approved, representing a cumulative volume of $1.7 billion.

To institutionalize this monitoring, a unit dedicated to steering the partnership was set up within the Ministry of Planning. This governance architecture aims to make the SPPM 2025-2029 a concrete and measurable lever, serving inclusive and sustainable development for the Ivorian populations.
