CEPICI: Female entrepreneurship at the heart of IFOA

The Center for the Promotion of Investments in Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI) participated in the first edition of the Women's Economic Fair (IFOA), an event dedicated to female entrepreneurship. This presence reflects the institution's desire to get closer to women entrepreneurs wherever they find themselves. Through its specialized “Investing in Women” window, CEPICI offered information and orientation sessions to participants, particularly on business creation procedures, access to financing and strategic partnership opportunities. The counter constitutes a dedicated system, designed to remove the specific obstacles faced by women in their entrepreneurial journey. This initiative is part of a broader national dynamic aimed at making the business ecosystem more inclusive. In Côte d'Ivoire, women represent a significant part of the actors in the informal economy, and their formalization constitutes an important lever for growth. CEPICI thus intends to contribute to the transformation of these potentials into viable businesses, creating jobs and added value for the national economy.
